Ariel is a Colorado native and has lived in Nashville for about eight years. She was inspired to work in the mental health field by her belief that no one should have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Through her personal and professional experiences, she has found that growth is available to all of us. She’ll help you find, befriend and love yourself again.
Ariel is passionate about providing a warm and approachable space for her clients. It can be scary and hard to find someone safe to talk to about how past experiences and emotions are affecting you today. Her role is to help you feel seen, heard and known; beginning with manageable steps. She loves helping clients through transitions, negative self-talk, acceptance, anxiety, connection to others, and navigating relationships.
Some of her specialties include addressing body-image issues and paving a way to healthier relationships with food and self-acceptance. She enjoys teaching couples about attachment styles and how to communicate in ways that they feel understood. She has a specific niche for moving through addiction and supporting both the individual and their support systems. In getting to the crux of these issues, it takes looking at how your past experiences have impacted your beliefs about yourself and the world around you.
Ariel believes that when we are open to change, we are able to learn that we are worth every bit of healing. Working with Ariel looks like connecting and being intimate with yourself before starting to do that with others. She is grateful for the opportunity to help you find yourself again. Ariel is EMDR, DBT, and CBT trained.
Favorite feel-good activities:
When I am most connected to myself is during time with God, walks and talks with friends, being with my partner and dancing. Being able to laugh off the things that don’t get to have power over us helps quite a bit, too!
