Empowering Caregivers of Neurodivergent Individuals

Next session April 30th • 12 – 1 pm

Navigating the complexities of caring for individuals with neurodivergent conditions such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and more can be both deeply rewarding and immensely challenging. For caregivers, the journey is often marked by a unique set of hurdles and triumphs, requiring not just patience and dedication, but also understanding and specialized knowledge.

This support group, led by therapist, Hannah Schonewill, offers a nurturing space for caregivers to share experiences, insights, and coping strategies.

In our meetings, you’ll find solace in knowing you are not alone. We’ll discuss practical tips for improving daily routines, managing behavioral differences, and accessing resources like specialized therapies and educational support. Beyond practical advice, we’ll foster a sense of community where mutual support and empathy thrive.

Neurodivergence affects not just those diagnosed, but their entire support network. Our group aims to empower you with the knowledge and resilience needed to navigate this journey effectively. Together, we celebrate milestones, share setbacks, and reinforce the belief that every individual, regardless of neurodivergent traits, deserves understanding, respect, and the opportunity to flourish.

Greater Nashville Therapists Meet Up

May 2nd • 12 – 1 pm

Being a therapist, especially in private practice, can be so isolating. Our days are filled with the invaluable work we do with clients, punctuated by administrative tasks, leaving little room for meaningful interaction with professionals in the community.

Recognizing this need for connection and support, The Happy Hour is excited to announce a therapist meetup aimed at fostering genuine support, mutual learning, and the cultivation of lasting connections. Our goal is to carve out a space where therapists in the Greater Nashville area can come together to find fellowship in and inspiration from the company of peers who understand the nuances of our profession.

Sound Bath

May 6th • 6:30 – 7:20 pm

Join us at our studio on the first Tuesday of every month for a deeply calming sound bath with Certified Sound Practitioner and Senior Life Coach, Clara Belden.

Sound Baths are a meditative, multisensory, and unique experience in which participants are bathed in the vibration of various instruments while lying down. Unlike other forms of meditation, Sound Baths focus on ambient sounds, rather than silence or a guided practice to reach a new state of tranquility.

This lie-down meditation encourages deep relaxation, allowing you to unplug and find release. We encourage you to bring a mat, a blanket, pillows, eye coverings, or whatever helps you to settle into rest.

All are welcome to our space to enjoy the benefits. Whether you are curious about sound meditation or meditation in general, seeking to deepen your practice, or are just in need of an evening to reset, Clara will be your guide into a transformative practice of sound healing.

Hello Nashville! • Spring Floral Workshop

May 29th • 5:30 – 6:45 pm

Making new friends as an adult in a big city can be tough—especially if bar scenes and small talk over loud music aren’t your thing. That’s where Hello Nashville! comes in.

We’re creating a new kind of social experience: a curated series of meetups built around active leisure—the kind that gets you moving, making, and meaningfully connecting with others. Whether it’s creating a flower arrangement, learning how to begin a sourdough starter, hiking the trails of Percy Warner, trying your hand at pottery, or visiting an owl sanctuary, these gatherings are designed to be both fun and restorative.

This isn’t just another social group—it’s a low-pressure way to meet kind, curious people while doing something that boosts your serotonin as well. We believe connection happens best when you’re fully present in the moment. So let’s get outside, get creative, and make new memories together.

We are kicking off Hello Nashville! with an event featuring floral artist Dani Engel, who will guide us in creating beautiful arrangements. Mix, mingle, and tap into your creative side. No floral experience needed—just bring your curiosity and come ready to meet some new faces!

This simple yet profound idea offers freedom from the need to fix, explain, or chase. It’s about reclaiming your energy and focusing on what truly matters.

Whether you’re navigating tricky relationships, setting boundaries, or just tired of overthinking every move, this book is for you. Get ready for real talk, honest reflections, and meaningful conversations with a supportive group of readers.
